How to Measure your dog

Be sure your dog is standing squarely, with head up while measuring. With the dog looking straight ahead, measure from the point where the neck joins the body to a point near the base of the tail where you want the coat to finish.  

Our coat size is based on the back length (i.e. the 8" coat measures 8" along the top of the coat).  However to give you a better idea on which size, if any, would be best for your dog, please see the measurements of our coats in the tables further down.

We recommend allowing approx 2" for breathing/wiggle room on top of your dog's chest measurement for a comfortable fit. For example, if your dog measures 16" along the back, and approx 21" around the chest, we would suggest trying a 16" coat for size.
